One of the downsides of living in a beautiful (but in the middle of nowhere) place is that spray paint color options are pretty dismal. We went all out – if you’re going to be a bear, be a grizzly! – and picked Safety Orange. We bought the pricey stuff at the recommendation of pretty much everyone else who has tried to spray paint something. The cheap stuff just doesn’t cut it.
Mike built a spray painting arena out of a shipping box, and we spray painted in the garage with the garage door open. After thinly spraying on a layer from about 12 inches away, we let it dry for the recommended 5 hours before putting on another.
I like how it turned out, but we definitely need a little more practice before we are spray paint masters!
