We’re experiencing a good long cold snap in Idaho. For the past week it’s been below zero outside my frosty bedroom window. Our furnace is laboring to keep the heat above 55 degrees in the middle of the night, and the dogs have taken to either snuggling with each other or with us.
There isn’t anything like a cold snap to make me appreciate one of my favorite winter home accessories – our heated blanket. We’ve had ours for well over five years, and it consistently keeps me cozy through the long nights. We have the Lands End Antistatic HeatComfort Blanket, which has dual controls for his and hers heat regulation, and a pre-heat setting so your bed’s already warm when you get in (love that).

If you live in a cold climate a heated blanket is an absolute must have. Who’s with me?
I wasn’t paid or perked to talk about this blanket. My heated blanket makes the winter nights bearable, and I wanted to share the tip!

Absolutely! Idaho winters are fun to look at but brrrr! I use my electric blanket every night, too ;o)

Do you live in the cold temps too, Jean?

I don’t have an electric blanket because I’d probably never get out from under it! But I am frequently under non-electric blankets

Ha! It does make getting out of the bed in the morning a little harder…
