Last week, when I discussed why I eat Paleo, I promised to record five days of Paleo meals. And here we have it: five beautiful days!
Breakfast: scrambled eggs with ground beef and red bell peppers
Lunch: salad with turkey, pear, and sliced almonds
Dinner: steak with garlic ginger brussels sprouts
Breakfast: leftover steak (cut into strips) and garlic ginger brussels sprouts
Lunch: salad with turkey and avocado, whole pear
Dinner: lamb stew with sweet potato, carrots, and a tomato base
Breakfast: scrambled eggs with lamb sausage
Lunch: salad with lamb sausage, sliced almonds and peach
Dinner: deconstructed tacos with ground beef, cucumber, avocado and homegrown tomatoes
Breakfast: scrambled eggs with lamb sausage and green peppers, peach
Lunch: salad with turkey, raisins and sliced almonds
Dinner: lamb sausage with baked sweet potato fries and a side salad
Doesn’t it look delicious? While there is meat with almost every meal, it’s rarely the star of the dish. There’s ample opportunity to eat copious amounts of fresh vegetables and fruit – yum.
Thank you for the chance to showcase a week of Paleo cooking. When I tell people I eat Paleo, they sometimes envision me in a dark corner gnawing a raw steak and an unwashed bunch of carrots. It couldn’t be farther from the truth! Filling, beautiful and delicious meals are always on the menu in House Bella.
